This website (tech1.ae) is operated by Tech1UAE FZ-LLC (“Tech1”, “we”, “us”), registered at Office T1-6F-10, Explorer Business Hub, RAKEZ, Ras Al Khaimah, United Arab Emirates, with our operating office at The Agenda Building, Dubai Media City, Dubai. We are the controller of the personal data described in this policy. You can contact us about privacy at info@tech1.ae or +971 7 227 6107.
We process personal data in line with the UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data and, for visitors in the United Kingdom, the UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018. We rely on: your consent (for example, non-essential cookies); the performance of a contract or steps you ask us to take before entering one; our legitimate interests in running and securing our business; and compliance with legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with trusted providers who process it on our behalf and under appropriate agreements, including our website host, our email provider (Microsoft 365) and Google (Maps and Search Console). Advertising and analytics providers such as X (Twitter) only receive data if you accept marketing cookies. We may also disclose data where required by law or to protect our legal rights.
Some of our providers store data outside the UAE or the UK. Where this happens we take steps to make sure your data is protected to an equivalent standard, for example through contractual safeguards.
We keep enquiry data for as long as needed to respond and follow up, and client records for as long as our relationship lasts plus the period required by UAE law for accounting and legal purposes. Security logs are kept for a limited period and then deleted.
Depending on where you live, you can ask to access, correct or delete your personal data, restrict or object to how we use it, receive a copy in a portable format, and withdraw any consent you have given at any time. To make a request, email info@tech1.ae. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the UAE Data Office or, in the UK, the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), a web application firewall, access controls and regular updates. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, but we work to protect your information and review our measures regularly.
You can change or withdraw your cookie choices at any time using the “Manage consent” option on this website. Full details are in our Cookie Policy.
We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be available on this page, with the date it was last updated shown at the top.
